Welcome to ACG's Middle-Market Growth Action Center!
The members of the Association for Corporate Growth are dealmakers and business leaders focused on driving growth in Main Street America. Through investments in the middle-market (under $1 Billion) ACG members from Private Equity Groups, Senior Debt and Mezzanine Lenders and Intermediaries provide access to the capital that fuels the American economy and grows jobs.
Middle-market dealmaking helps strong and sustainable companies grow to the next level. Dealmakers help family-owned businesses realize a return on years of investment. And middle-market dealmakers focus on providing the capital, structure and management support to grow a business not just into the next quarter but into the next decade.
ACG represents nearly 1,500 middle-market Private Equity Groups with 20,000+ portfolio companies employing more than 3 million people. In addition, ACG’s members include lenders, accountants, lawyers, advisors and corporate development professionals who help middle-market firms and the companies they invest in grow and succeed.
The middle-market is the heart of the American economy and Federal policy makers need to understand the impact their votes can have on future economic growth and job creation.
These are important facts, and this story needs to be told. To achieve this, the ACG Global Board of Directors has decided to inform and educate members about public policy matters. The goal of ACG is to ensure that the positive stories of middle-market M&A and private equity are heard by federal legislators and policy makers when considering legislation and regulation that will impact our industry.
